Mona Lake

Question... When running from the grand to muskegon or white, i've never looked at the entrance to mona. Is is still possible to get in there this time of year? I've never checked it out and I tend not to run close to the beach. Anyone been out there lately?

I was out there Memorial Day and had no problem getting in there from Lake Michigan.  I would think based on the rain we have had and current water levels you would not have an issue getting in there.  I would recommend you take it slow because the entrance to the lake is shallow and narrow but the bottom is all sand.
