Japanese "I" motion

The latest Bassmaster mag talks about the newest finesse technique to come from Japan. Sounds alot like Charlie Brewers slider fishing (circa 1970's) to me.

Really I don't think there's to much out there that's going to be earth shattering as far as new styles

I did find the part about Wacky jighead fishing has become more popular in Japan than drop shotting interesting.

I've allways thought that Wacky style or drop shot were more or less just a vert. presentation.
Might not be the same rigging but it's vert. part that makes it work.

With that being said
We've been working on a weight to wacky fish 20' down
Plus it's rigged weedless over the wacky jighead.

I read this article and it does sound like slider fishing.  Brewer had this technique down.  It is almost like the old "California stitching technique".  It was a very very slow presentation to the point of almost dead sticking.
