making a run down to cass lake tomorrow.  never been there, but kind of know that its not a big weedy beast like most, but if anyone has any thoughts about what is working there, or spots to try, the help would be greatly appreciated.  hopefully someone can post before we go after work tomorrow, i will check this around 3ish tomorrow.

thanks for anyone that helps us.

the main lake is very clear so light line is a must. bring your dropshot/splitshot rigs for the deep drop offs. it is easy to see the weedbeds so i would bring something to pitch in and around the weedbeds. you can also fish the channels around the lake starting near the boat ramp skip tubes and soft stickbaits to docks and sea walls, just watch the depth some of the channels can get really shallow real quick even where the channel dumps into the lake.
i hope this helps have fun you should be the only people out there since it's the middle of the week.

thanks bob, i will post later to see if we did any good.  i am hoping to have the lake to ourselves, but always hate when real good weather, because of pleasure boaters.  will make it work though.

thanks again

I was on an inland lake this past Wednesday. By 1:30 PM it was pretty noisy. By 3:30 PM I was starting to think I was on Lake St. Clair!! I had one skier using my boat for a turning buoy. Always enjoyable! A lot of people appear to not be working during the day!!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
