the michigan bass invitational (mbi) is looking for another bass club or two to fish lake ponemah next year, sept 16, 2012.  it is the oldest running tournament in michigan, since 1976.  each club sends 4 boats, 2 man teams (8 guys total) and the tournament is decided by total weight of the club as a whole.  if you don't have enough guys, you can fish by yourself (one club did that this year).  it is a 5 fish limit per boat, so there isn't too much disadvantage by fishing by yourself.

the lake is off limits one week prior to the event.  if you are interested in fishing, there is a manditory meeting usually in march, where one member of your club must attend.  there is $125 dues to fish the event, covering costs of food before and after the event, and trophies.  there is an optional side money pot, $10 per boat.  if you are interested, contact derrek at nitroderrek@yahoo.com

thank you.  nitroderrek
