Can you help take a college team fishing on Saturday, July 16?

The second National Guard FLW College Fishing qualifying tournament is on Detroit River Saturday, July 16. We need volunteers with boats to escort 40 college teams on the water. We will pay $200 for your assistance during the tournament, which runs 6:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Takeoff and weigh-in will be at Elizabeth Park.

Please reply to this e-mail if you are available to escort one of the college teams. Feel free to pass it on to your friends and bass club.

You will drive your boat while the combustion engine is in operation (250 hp Maximum), and the college team will operate the trolling motor and determine fishing locations. Each team will provide their own tackle and related equipment. There is no need for you to clean out your boat.

Please help us make this tournament a great success for our college anglers. Your help is extremely appreciated.

Kevin Hunt

Try khunt at flwoutdoors.com since that is how most FLW Outdoors email addresses are formatted (first initial last name).

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

If I don't make the cut, I will be doing this.  Hopefully they will have enough boats.
