freemont lke report from last saturday

freemont lake was pretty much on last saturday mid state had a tournament there.
1st place  old jigger 19.55
2nd place was 17.60
3rd 17.50
4th 17.40
5th macbass 16.75 also had big bass 5.80 no pictures not smart enough to take camera... bait of choice

1st place

5th place and big bass came on a old jigger watermelon smash jig and the same ditch bug

I wonder why that jig/craw combination is so good on Fremont, but not on Reeds Lake? The water color is usually about the same, but I don't think Fremont kills all the weeds like they do on Reeds Lake. That was a heck of a weigh in. I think in the three hour NBAA held there Tuesday, first place was over 16 pounds.

That sounds like a lake to add to the list of places to check out!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
