OK couch fishermen today is the big day.  Watch the A-Rig in action.  1 pm ET. on Versus  Got both my DVR's set.

wonder how many will be for sale at the Novi show.

Dan

Dang, I didn't watch the show today and didn't read your post until it was too late. I don't have a DVR. Do you know if it's going to be rebroadcasted soon?

It will be on a few more times this week

The show was a 1 hour  " Infomercial " for the A-Rig.   The first few days only a few were throwing it then the last day everyone was throwing it.   Did look neat coming through the water.  Only about 7 months till we can use one.  :'(

ive been looking into for michigan is the bait actually legal here because i read somewhere only 3 hooks to a line?

KLAKE

I'm curious what happened to the guys A-rig that completely fell apart. I know they said he got it snagged....Thing literally fell to pieces

dartag

since it is steel wire there are only so many times you can bend it before it will break.      He fished until it only had 2 wires left.  Must be nothing else worked because he only caught 3 fish all day.

If you missed the very convincing and dominating Guntersville 'demo' event you can watch the full episode online now. http://www.greatlakesbass.com/forum/index.php?topic=11268.0

I included a link to a number of A-rigs variations as cheap as $16.99 from Bass Tackle Depot in case, like me, you think you need to try one. Or two.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

It's 3 rods in Michiagn or no more then 6 hooks or lures
The strange parts would be, It might be considered one lure?

Per the DNR
"Hook and Line Fishing: Fish so taken must be hooked in the mouth. Fish not hooked in the mouth must be returned to the water immediately. No more than three lines per person (including tip-ups) nor more than six hooks or lures may be used. All hooks attached to an artificial bait or "night crawler harness" are counted as one hook. Hooks must be baited or attached to an artificial bait. You may use any number of hooks on one line for taking smelt in recognized smelt waters. Tip-ups and similar devices used for ice fishing must show the angler's name and address. All lines must be under immediate control. Hook size regulations exist on certain streams (see Exceptions to General Regulations by County, p. 16-18). "

In Ohio it is 3 hooks per rod
And they count "hooks" not lures

So it's a legel rig in Michigan
