The Miller tourney once again was run very well and I believe a good time was had by all. 90 teams qualified, top 30 from each of 3 qualifiers, all fishing for the new boat. And the new truck they pulled it here with. Good deal if you need a new truck and boat.
Did I mention the Miller Girls? They handed out the shirts and hats and handled the weigh in bags. Of course, the Hooters Girls handled the wings and beverages of choice. This was a Miller tourney by the way.
The guys in the 1st flight hogged all the wings so a run to Hooters was made for more. Brought back more girls to handle the rush for wings too. These guys flat know how to run a tourney.
If you're interested in the other stuff - we were some where in the top 20 but no check. Caught our fish at the downstream end of deep runs drop shotting Dingers. Saw a lot of guys I've not seen in a while and this thing kinda evolved into an ice cream social, but with Hooters wings and sponsored by Miller. Nice deal for $30 a man. Thanks to Mickey and Dave. Great Job.

I'm glad to hear it was ran so well, though I'm not surprised.

For the guys that aren't familiar w/ this circuit, its a must do if you're in the area. When you pay $30 for free food, Hooters/Miller Lite girls, thousands of dollars, and a chance for a boat & truck, its spectacular. I'm glad you had a good time.

There were 3 different qualifiers, the top 30 teams from each got in.

Wawasee / Maggies - St. Joe River / Coldwater

Web site is  www.michianaweeknighttournamentseries.com

I believe Rufus got a check there, not sure about any other GLB members though.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Jeff Burkett / Federnock won it.
I'll give you the weight but all you east siders will get ill. Everythings relative, I guess.....
