John Serniak of Yale, Michigan took 1st place and big bass in the first ever 2006 TBF of Michigan state championship on the Grand River with 5 bass weighing 11 -8 (big bass of 3 lbs).

I'll have pictures and more details that will be posted this week as soon as possible on the TBF of MI web page.. Congratulations to John Serniak and the rest of the TBF of MI state team: Brian Ball, Eric Bond, Jack Cahn, Derek Cummings, Bob Evans, Mark Gomez, Jon Jezierski,  Bill Head, and Joshua Kolodzaike, Chuck Reese and Eric Smith.

They will now all move on to the next level this September 10-15 to fish the TBF Northern Divisional in Wisconcin - Wolf River/Lake Winnebego against the state teams from the other north region federations.

(I corrected the names of the 12 team members - I inadvertantly left one off - so sorry Bill)

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
