i bought some hollow bellys and some uncle josh "meat minnows" 3" and i have a bunch of lead head type minnows too, should be fun to try out for sure

I expect there will some interesting adaptations yet to come with all aspects of this exciting new injection into the fishing tackle arena! Should be many great examples of 'no idea is a dumb idea' with baiting up this rig. I know at one point I had 5 totally different lures on my 'Amazon' rig and the peacocks didn't seem to care! Fun fun.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

been casting off my dock with many different baits.   The small swimbaits really look good.  Also some Yum curly tail grubs i had in the garage look good.  Anything with a tail that swims should work.   Flukes just kind of ride along.    Going to want to glue them on when you start fishing.  They tend to slide down the hook.

I'd guess it's a matter of how much do you what to spend

I cheapest bait out there is going to be the swimming flukes by Zoom
But if you check TW any thing in white has been back order for a while

I'm going to try Zoom Swimmin' Super Flukes first but I'm thinking that 4" and 5" Kalin's grubs are going to look nice on there as well.

Thanks for the offer but I pour all my jig heads.  Just added a wire keeper to my mold.  My dremmel tool finally came in handy.

Bass Tackle Depot has a great selection of Alabama umbrella rig swimbaits, minnow bodies, jigheads and hooks all on one page on their Bass Tackle Depot Bama Rig Headquarters page!

Of course, I've already had great success on peacock bass including doubles on the complete Alabama Umbrella Rig Kit available from Anglers Mart. Great price for a complete kit that includes an all around good-sized set of 5 minnow jigheads and white minnow bodies. JVD says he's does better more often with these rigs with smaller swimbaits like these even in the Southern states.

I like the simplicity of this kit including the tough, velcro sealing storage bag! These rigs are tough too! I used the same rig all week on these brutal peacocks without breaking off even on the doubles! You can't imagine how hard the peacocks slammed this rig!!! Amazing! Can't wait to get on some Great Lakes smallies with it!

Got my A-rig setup in the mail from TW today! I tried it out in my neighbors pond, and it looks killer!!! I got the BOSS version of the A-rig and rigged it with Netbait 4" swim baits in the albino color. The jig heads are 1/8 oz Buckeye J-will heads. The whole rig itself only costs about $27(expensive but cheaper than most).
