Yes water levels still low, would not chance running Flats until later in year. Water temps running about 38/39 degrees (maybe 40 today) - about 2 weeks behind last year. Perch have moved out of canals and harbors -- crappie moved in or at least biting. SM just arriving in close (same time as the swallows showed up). A lot of wind past few days has Lake really muddy. Hooked by accident a 3lbm SM and released succesfully on Sunday.

Thanks for report...40 degrees surprises me, thought it would be a little warmer

I gues it's crappie fishing for a while(LOL)

Crappie fishing is fun! Especially on Lake St. Clair where there are so many huge crappie. Huge bluegills too! I've driven over there from Lansing a number of times just to fish for panfish.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
