Going To Camp Mana Pine Labor Day 2013...anyone ever fished Tippy Pond this time of the year for smallies or Pike?? Any info would be great! Thanks....

Dan

Lots of smallies to be had. Several little island areas and some flats to peruse. Lots of shoreline as well. It's a river system with lots of deep water as well. May want to dropshot river bends. Topwater early and late is a lot of fun.

My family n I have had much success here oer the yrs. Greatest smallie action at dawn n dusk. Tons o rock bass also that taste great. Also great for channel cats. Beaver huts produce many bass n pike. Constantly b on lookout for stumps n submerged trees. Drop shot said trees off steep banks. Jeff the owner of manna pine is great guy he can also point u in direction of good largemouth fishn or anything else. Good luck
