Thank you so much to all of you who helped out at the GreatLakesBass.com booths during the recent 2014 Ultimate Fishing Show. We signed up a decent number of new members, and did well on petition signatures - which helps ALL outdoors persons in Michigan protect their hunting and fishing rights!!

It was nice to see people with questions get some answers about bass fishing and Michigan too! That's another important reason we are there!

It was another successful show for our website, and I couldn't do it without you!! THANK YOU!

Did you get many direct sign ups that weekend on line??    Some of the younger folk I was talking to signed up on their smart phones and devices right away.

I did get a smattering of signups over the 4 days of the show and a few days after that probably came from the show. No way to know who they were exactly, just approximately where they came in from based on the service they use for Internet. Cell phones make it hard to tell who/what/where. But I'm always happy to have them.

Part of my web design (I worked on it a little today) is to make as much of the website as possible more small device friendly.

We've gone over 2,700 members thanks to the new signups from the 2014 Ultimate Fishing Show! Let's hope some of them become new, active members. I personalized the registration email a little more hoping they'd all remember how they got here...

One of the things I love about the winter shows - I get to catch with people, many whom I only see once a year now at the shows. It beats cabin fever all over the place!
