Hay everyone, a few weeks ago i posted for some info on Hess lake ( Thanks for all the good info  ;D ) but now this little shop tx has been moved to Brooks Lake and we are fishing this Saterday  ???. If there is anyone out there that can give me any info at all it would be great

                            Thanks Andy

You need to talk to Cfruel, he has a place on Brooks and knows it well. He's on all the time, I'm sure he'll have some info to help you out.

Waterfoul

On Brooks, find weeds, find fish.  I"ve fished 2 tournaments there this year already.  There are a couple distinct points on the lake.  Fish them all the way up to 2' of water or less.  Creature baits in the stump field on the south side is also a good place.  Soft plastics (watermellon and blues/blacks) and shallow cranks seem to do best.

It's still not the BEST bass lake around, but it's heads and shoulders better than Hess.  I caught a 6 lb largemouth there last year off the long point on the south side just east of the boat ramp.  Of course it wasn't during a tournament... dang!!
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!
