I'm very pleased to announce River Rat aka Scott Taylor, has signed on with GreatLakesBass.com as a site sponsor for his Downriver Bass Fishing venture and Tightlines Lures.

Scott/River Rat will be at the GreatLakesBass.com booth 2355 at the Ultimate Fishing Show for a good deal of time Friday and Saturday at the show opening times with some sample lures. We will be giving out some to new members who sign up. He'll have information and can answer questions for you about the product line and how to get them.

More information coming very soon. Thank you River Rat/Scott for signing up! I do appreciate and could not function without support from people and companies like you!

Thank you Dan for the opportunity to work with this great site!  I've already met quite a few members and have started some good friendships, not too mention the amount of info I've picked-up from the vast knowledge base when it comes to our "big water bassing".

For better or worse, I'm a very close-to-the-vest person and am not going to try and jam any product down anyone's throat.  As for lures and products, I know we all use what works and have a comfort level with (for me to a fault).  There are plenty of other plastics I use also, just one example is Wayne's tubes, I'm sure he'll attest to my "persistence" for info and belief in his products.

There are several members here whom I've fished with and not tried to give anything resembling a sales pitch.  I tested, retested, and tested some more with these lures and did come to my own conclusion that they do/will work.

All that said, I'm leaving the biz side where it belongs and the forum side where it has been since I joined.  I'll be adding and updating the Downriver Bass Fishing store on Tackle2Trade dot com regularly.

Thanks again,
Scott

p.s. McCarter, I'll be coming by during the show to check out and probably buy some new jigs and gobies!  The season ran away before I got some this year.

Thanks for helping this site, Scott. I'm looking forward to seeing you at the show, and talking baits. I have a lot to learn.

River Rat

Please forgive my haste but I need to mention that there is a local shop that will be your LSC resource for TightLines Lures: the Nautical Mile BP.  Jackie runs a "tight ship" and has a first class shop where you can find anything you could possibly need from "perchin' to bassin'."

Thanks,
Scott

Welcome to the site as a sponsor Scott.

Looking forward to meeting and seeing your stuff at the show.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.
