Another show is upon us - the DeVos Place Grand Rapids Sport & RV Show.

The weather is supposed to be warm this weekend. C'mon down and talk fishing... (waterfoul - don't read this next part -skip to the next paragraph) BUY the HOT new Xtreme Bass Tackle St. Clair crayfish tubes!!!

I'll be doing 3 seminars with Wayne and 2 or 3 by myself (on the NBAA stage) during the 4-day show that starts tomorrow afternoon.

Good news!!! Not that you have to listen to me talk some more about funny-talking Phil, but that I will have KaRu lures to give away to lucky participants at my seminars!! Not sure what I'll give away yet, but I have some VibraSpins - the next hot lure everyone will want to have (after they buy the new St. Clair crayfish!! Ooops, sorry waterfoul). I think I still have a few giveaways from Case Plastics too.

You can go to the Showspan link above for Wayne's seminar times. I'll have them and my NBAA times posted tonight. See you there! Make sure you introduce yourself to me at The Bass Federation of Michigan booth or Xtreme Bass Tackle!!

I emailed you about sunday, did you get it?
I am a pre bred mix between a ninja and a polar bear.  A truly deadly combination.

If anyone wants the Hot New Xtreme St. Clair crayfish tubes or any of Xtreme's great baits, you can buy them from me at the show.  I will be working the Xtreme both Thursday evening and most of the day on Friday.  Come check these great baits out and say hello to me.

If you're going down to the Grand Rapids Ultimate Fishing Show, stop in and see Bobby at Taco Bob's. Taco Bob's is directly across the street from the entrance to the DeVos Place. If you're exiting it is slightly to your right as you cross Monroe. I'ts in the Michigan National Bank building. They won't let him put up any outside signs so it is a little hard to spot. They'll be open on Friday till 4:00 pm and during the day Saturday till 4:00. They will be closed Sunday. You can get a good meal for $6 which includes your drink. Here is a link to some coupons.

Remember too, that if you go north on Monroe past Michigan (You'll see the expressway overpass) there is metered parking for $.25 an hour. Much cheaper than any other parking and it's a short half block to the entrance of the DeVos Place. There are similar meters a little further away across the Grand River near the Gerald R. Ford Museum. Not a bad walk for the parking savings.
I'm going down early on Thursday to help set up the Michigan B.A.S.S. Federation booth. I know this is primarily a TBF sight, but you can belong to both and why not??

That's some good info Dan...I was thinking about going, but with gas prices sky rocketing I will probably stay home and save the money for fishing...GR is about 5 hours for me round trip...I may try the Lansing show.

Waterfoul

I think myself and a friend will be fishing from the high wall just down stream from the dam before the show opens on Thursday.  If any of you park up that way stop on up and see if we did any good!

We'll then be at the show when the doors open at 3:00.

And Dan... SHUT UP about the new color!!!  :D

Cy, are you working Thursday afternoon?
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

Skulley

With gas prices what they are I think I'll stay home and watch fishing shows.  I have 4 outdoor channels and I can get fishing shows Saturday and Sunday.  Save the gas from the drive across the state for the boat.

Original song and lyrics by "MadWags"

What's with the news these days on the TV and the radio. Can't find the truth amongst the lies. Some talking head that claims to live their life in a better way, says I have to compromise. But now there's something on the rise. Truth has opened up my eyes. There's no running from your dirty lies. You can't avoid the truth. I'll no longer close my eyes.

I thought I responded, but looks like I didn't. I did now. The spam load was particularly high yesterday so I probably just thought I responded.

Sorry I will not be in attendance. Go see Xtreme Tackle for those sweet tubes and TBF to join the Federation. Both booths will also have the Fishers of Men brochures if you are interested.  8)

Good - I was just thinking I did not get any brochures from you. I was hoping you got them to someone. If you need help getting them to D&R or Wonderland the next two weekends, get some more to me or leave extra. I'll need some for the Lansing show too in mid-April.

CORRECTION: This is a Great Lakes bass fishing site. I will get anglers involved however I can and would rather have them in one federation or the other instead of none. Both is fine with me too. Dan - don't make me have to take away your Taco Bob privileges for a day...

Will you ever forgive me. Bold face chastisement, man I really crossed the line. My apologies Lt. Dan.
