My old sled got hit while I was riding in Baldwin last month.  So, now I have something a little newer and faster.  It's an 05 Arctic Cat F7.  This thing is cool.  Now, all I need is some snow.  The yard is starting to look pretty rough, and the neighbors are probably tired of their snowbanks getting knocked down.

LipRip

nice! Just a head a little more north, they've been gettin quite a bit of snow.

Can you troll with that thing???

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I don't know Dan.  But, I can guarantee it will do 100 across open water.  Just can't stop to fish.

mikesmiph

That would be a trick Mike. I want to watch you go 100 across open water. I dont give you 50 yards, LOL. Frozen water, maybe.

stackenem

I'll take that bet. I have seen many sleds cross over many rivers that were flowing at the time You just have to keep it moving fast and they will fly right on top of the water.
Remember you don't quit fishing when you get old, you get old when you quit fishing

LipRip

ya, sleds can go across the open water! Its kinda crazy to watch.

There are some Youtube videos of guys running for miles down the river in open water...We used to run the Grand River around lansing and hit open water every now and then...Just don't let off and it will be OK....

Nice sled....

Mike S.

Heck yeah.  Get on Youtube, and search snowmobiles on water.  I'm game.  They say you only have to go 27 miles per hour on them to skip across open water.  There are people who race circle tracks on water with them.  Crazy people.

djkimmel

I just checked my master list of things to do... Nope. Nothing on there about snowmobiles on open water...

I guess it's not for everyone!

djkimmel

Maybe everyone else? Just not for me...
