Well, slowly but surely I'm catching up with some of you. And who doesn't love friends!?! Be my friend on Facebook if you would. I consider all of you my friend! We all fish, right!?! Pretty much all of us anyway.

Also, I sure would appreciate having all of you on Facebook to be a fan of GreatLakesBass.com on Facebook.com. Of course, if you aren't on Facebook, I still like you :)

If you happen to be on Twitter, you can follow us at www.twitter.com/greatlakesbass also.

Thanks!
I'm sorry I draw the line at Facebook. I just can't be apart of something called twitter. ;D

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Exactly.
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

I was reluctant to Twitter at first, but I am surprised at how much I get out of it.

djkimmel

Well, maybe we will have to talk because I saved greatlakesbass a long time ago but just started using it. Though I lean towards to 'twitter' thing being almost an issue, I probably should give it a try. Some advice from an expert would help.

Thanks to all my 'new' friends :)

Keep it coming. I can always use more friends. Who can't?

If you want to get more out of Twitter, do two things:

  • Get some Twitter client software. I like TweetDeck. Use it to set up some searches for topics like "largemouth bass" and  you will find plenty of other folks to follow. You will also find yourself getting involved in threads before too long.
  • Follow a bunch of people. Many of them will follow you back just out of courtesy.

Here's a good starter article about Twitter from a tech guy: http://www.hanselman.com/blog/HowToTwitterFirstStepsAndATwitterGlossary.aspx

Thanks for the info. I'll take a look sometime this weekend.

As "light in the loafers" as Twitter sounds it's great for following Bass Fishing! You just have to try it...

I'll have to have you and Trux give me a few pointers on Twitter. I think Trux already has...?? I just have to find what I did with them!
