went out for the first time to see how the mariner was running and ended up on the same lake where my brother caught the 5 lb'er last fall. motor cleaned out and ran her to the far side of the lake where the temps were 78.3  started throwing a pop'r and saw it disappear under the water and set the hook into a nice bass that pulled really hard. turned out i had 2 bass on at the same time!! ended up with a matched set of 16" lgmouth!! never had that happened before.. good way to start off the season..karol

That must have been decades ago, I don't know anyone throwing that big of a jerkbait on spinning tackle!!  How old are you really French Fry??

Hmmmmmm  That jerkbait was either a husky jerk or a rattling rogue.  Had to be after 96.  That was the year boat I had.  I wore contacts then and it was hard to put them in at 6am to fish, hence the glasses.  lol

Firefighter Jeff

Oh, and I'm 48 years young, thank you very much  !!!!

Firefighter Jeff

Oh, and I throw all my jerkbaits on spinning gear  !!!   ::)

It took you 3 posts to say what you needed.  That's old, all I'm saying.  Atleast you have a boat to fish from, that must be nice. :-X

Ummm yes I'm old.  Especially now that my Dr. won't let me play basketball anymore.  :(  But yes, I do have a boat to use.  I hope yours is up and running soon  !!
