I'm not sure whats going on here, so I thought I'd get your opinions on this.  I am breaking spinnerbaits at the R bend.  About 10 this year.  I have never done this or even heard of anyone doing it.  It is happening with multiple brands, though not with titanium.  What causes this and how do you stop it.  I have the same line and rods as always.  This is a brand new way I have found to waste money.  Help.

Thanks,
Frank

You are catching too big bass! You need to find smaller bass!

But seriously, did you change to a different fishing rod? Heavier line? Start a new personal fitness program?

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Stainless steel gets weaker as it bends.  When the wire bends when you catch a fish (or swing it aboard), or, when you're tuning your spinnerbaits and bending them out or in, the wire will continue to get weaker until it breaks.

it's gotta be from the wire bending.  Back to titanium i guess
