The weather stunk, so it made it a little tough to see the beds, but there were many bedding fish, but even more abandoned beds.  If the weather stabilizes, the fish should be up on beds in big numbers very soon.  Water was crystal clear and the fish were very inactive.  My guess is that our club go about 20 or so bass.  Not too bad considering the weather stunk and the fish were skittish.

Saw a few larger fish, but most of them didn't measure.  Lots of little fish.

Rev, I landed 11 bass that day and lost 2 - 1 would have been my biggest - got off half way to the boat due to equipment malfunction. Two regular keepers and a couple-three close bass. We could have turned around on a few more beds and probably got them to bite. We did fish a few during the day on purpose and got some of them to bite. I was hoping to find more prespawn/postspawn, which is why I didn't push to stop too much. More to come on your site...

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Sounds about right.  I got 4, a couple of other guys got 4 or so.  So maybe the number is actually closer to 30.  Anyway, it was great considering the nasty weather and overcast skies.  Dan... you da man!

I had 4 keepers (barely), and a bunch of shorts that day.  Dan, truly an awesome day considering the crappy weather .
