My personal "Could have only one" would be a GLoomis MBR843 GLX for casting and a GLoomis BSR802 GLX for spinning.

I really like my St.Croix Avids for finese spinning.
I have a Loomis GL3 for crankbaits and topwaters.
I have a Cabelas Fish Eagle II for my senko rod. 
Each one of these rods does what it's supposed to do.

I have a Duckett 7.5 microguide flipping stick that will be seeing some action this weekend.  It is super light and has great action practicing off my dock.

dartag, I got one of those in 7'11" for crankbaits. I put a new Shimano reel on it and used it for the first time tonight. So far it is really nice, other than carrying it inside since it is so long I keep hitting the tip on the door frames. I'll have to remember not to turn on the ceiling fans.

For me my favorite used to be my drop shot rod, a 6'10" Fenwick Elite Tech. But I haven't used it in over a year, and now I use a lot of different rods. GLXs are hard to beat, but I guess it comes down to the application. Yesterday it was a Powell frog rod and today it was a Falcon Expert pitching rod.

I'd have to go along with Dan. I love my Grandt rods, but the C-10 is my favorite of my favorites. Just got a new Reserve Power spinning, mostly for tubes on St Clair. I havent tried it out yet, but I'm sure I'll love it. By far the best for the least out there. The warranty cant be beat.

Its way to hard to pick just one!

Dobyns DX742C SH- super versatile, sensitive, and incredibly light...I really like the 7' 4" length.

Dobyns DX784C ML- Its got enough tip where I can fish a jig deep with it but also go down the bank and still have the power to pull fish off of cover.

Dobyns Savvy Series 703C- This rod does it all thats all I have to say about that.

Going to really like the Dobyns Champion 805 flip and punch rod this summer. It has incredible balance which is tough to find in an 8 foot flipping stick...I can't wait till the grass mats get here!

I've got a lot of different rods including higher end ones such as the cumara and dobyn's but my favorite, all around baitcasting rod is a 7' MH carbonlite from BPS. Very sensitive, extremely light, and a tip that I think is just perfect.

For me
It's a Kistler Helium LTA 6'-9" med casting rod

Last year I broke my 09 with the full cork handle
And In a panic I bought 2 of the newer split handle rods. And as much as I thought I wouldn't like the spilt handle they are more comfortable over the full cork handle.

It's the perfect wacky rod with a Shimano 50 MG

I have to agree that my favorite rods are without a doubt Kistlers.  I would be hard pressed to pick my fav.   The "All day flippin' stick is simply amazing.  The magnesium composite crankin' stick is by far the best crankin' stick I have ever held, and the any of the helium spinning rods will do the trick. 

If you are really feeling like you deserve a treat...then pick up one of the helium II's.  Unbelievably light and responsive.

GLoomis all the way. My favorite casting rod is a MBR 843c 7' MH fast action IMX.

My favorite spinning rod is my SJR 723 6' MH fast action IMX. It has the Tennessee handle on it and is perfect for skippin docks and pontoons.

I did buy a couple of the TFO rods designed by Gary Loomis. I will be using them Saturday for the first time. I will post my first impressions about them soon after, but they feel real nice on dry land.
