Coming back to Michigan from Canada

Can you still get back into the country with your birth cert ? I just opened up my fishing lic. and the date were not right. Now I need to go and get another before the tourney next week.... grrr.....

Nope.  you need an enhanced licence or passport.  You should have your passport anyway!

But Seth is correct.  You need either the enhanced license or passport. 
It is my understanding that that has been true for a few years now.  It is also my understanding that even if you are just fishing in Canada and never touching ground, anchoring, or tying up to a Canadian boat, you still must have the proper ID.

I got my enhanced license a year ago.  This was even before the new call in procedure for Canada. 
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.
