Anybody having problems with navionics maps? I was on wixom lake tonight and noticed my gps was off by about 100 yards to the south and 200 yards to the west. My gps is right on on sanford lake, when I turned off the mapping the base map seemed to be right. Is there some adjustment for this? Has anyone else had this problem with other lakes?

Same exact problem with my navionics chip as well. I dont know how to fix it either.

there is a small (almost microscopic) disclaimer on the package of the map cards that says that the overlay isn't exact and will not reference well to the built in map.  most of the maps that are on the cards were created before we had all the advances WAAS information available, they are less acurate...but as new maps are created they are getting better, for instance the Navionics Premium maps have the bigger bodies of water (like Saginaw Bay) plotted in High Definition with 1-2 foot contours, even though the card reads "off" on Wixom, it is very close on the Bay.  Remember essenitally you are just viewing an overlay on your built in map...almost like a overhead projector with the film slid a bit to the right....BUT...no way to fix it, the best thing you can do is re-initialize the location of your GPS.  it gives you the option of moving the cursor as close as you can to your present position...keep zooming in as you do this so you are as close as possible before you select your position.  it is pretty easy while zoomed out to be a 100 yds off or so....
