I haven't hunted for at least 20 years, but I'm thinking about getting back into it. I am leaning toward a muzzleloader because I can't use a rifle in my area. My question is what type, brand and model, would be a good entry level gun? Also what scope would you guys recommend? Maybe some of you could give me some suggestions at different price points so I can make an informed choice.
Thanks, Tom

Thompson and the rest make all good inlines. Easy to use, clean  very accurate.   Id go with a muller scope  , made in michigan   little pricy but thats my choice .  A simple 3x9 will work  . Expect the 200 yard mark to be your outside range.   If ya can get a breakstock  in stainless and composite so its a tad lighter.    Prolly facing 250 to 300 for a full midrange level gun .
