Some of the guys at work and I are talking about a trip to the U.P. to fish.  They want to chase walleye and perch(I prefer smallies).  We have no idea where to go or who would be a good contact up there.  If anyone could get us started we are looking to tent it and we would prefer smaller lakes because we will be using 14' aluminum v bottoms.

They also mentioned that being mobile would not be a bad thing so moving to a different lake each day would also be welcomed.  I think we are looking at July or August.  Not the best time for walleye but it's about the only time everyone can go.

Any names or numbers of lodges, baitshops or persons would be appreciated.  Personal knowledge would be great.

Thanks for the help
