bought some of these recently.  Going to give them a try this spring for sure.

I"m like Bill I use the 3/8" shrink tubing.  I've found it works a lot better than the O rings.   

For a hook I use an Owner #1 or #2 Mosquito hook. 

This set up allows me to use hand pours and get a lot more fish from each one.  If the tubing affects the worms action at all the fish don't seem to care.

i used to use octopus or gami split shot hooks, switched completely to the 1/0 gammie Finesse Wide Gaps.... awesome hooks.
