Here is the initial draw matching all the non-boaters to boater including a few who said they are willing to take an extra non-boater BIG THANKS THERE!! I tried to make sure I don't have two totally new people (to Lake St. Clair) in the same boat. Most of the people on this list have confirmed with me that they are coming. I have noted a few other boaters who have said they will take a 3rd in case there are anymore last minute changes. If any non-boaters can't make it, I may still move people around a little so we have as few triples as possible and no one goes out fishing alone. We are still all fishing as a team with the best 5 bass caught by everyone in the boat. Please PM me with any questions about this list.

Non-boaters bring a life jacket that you like to wear to be on the safe side. If you have an extra Golden Rule Weighmaster board, please bring it.

Please notify me ASAP about any changes in your status. Otherwise, I look forward to seeing all of you Saturday morning May 12 no later than 7:20am at Harley Ensign.

Mojo

We forgot Frank. He may have a boat tomorrow, and will need an experienced non boater. If no boat he was going to fish with Mike S and I. Worse to worse, he and Mike Smiph are buddy's.
Thanks Dan for bringing year round Catch and Release to Michigan

SethV

If Frank brings a boat he can always follow me.  Right now I am on good fish in Sandusky, not too bad of a run.  Co-anglers, you may want to bring helmets...

Frank has never posted that he is fishing. Because you mentioned him a few days ago, I asked him if he would come and bring his boat. I got a message from Frank a couple days ago telling me he did not have his boat yet and didn't know when he was going to actually get it. He also told he would not come as a non-boater. I know Mike S was expecting to fish with you and Brett. He didn't say anything about Frank either.

You may be on a different playbook than everyone else? I'm going by what Frank emailed me directly for now. Second hand is risky for me in these things. If Frank is actually coming now either way, I need Frank to let me know himself so I'm sure we are all on the same page. Than I have to figure out what to do about Mike S thinking you, him and Brett were fishing together?

I did tell Frank we would get him around some fish. I always try to get people around fish. That's one of the things this is all about. If I misunderstood Frank, please have him send me a message to clarify. I want to get everyone out fishing, but I have to know for sure what is going on.

Ha ha funny... I may be going out on a limb here and I'll double check with the 'tournament committee' but I'm thinking Sandusky is out of bounds??

Hahahahahaha!!!!  You're not right.

Waterfoul

Oh my back!!!

We'll just put you in the middle Justin... stading down in the cockpit.  That should put Don right at your level when he's up on the front deck.

Thanks for the Mitch Albom version Dan, but all I was mentioning is Big Daddy Frank may have a boat today ...... your pairings arent going to change, just possibly improve.

And those are "Seth Fish" by the way .... When he says "on good fish" - thats great fish to everyone else ! (Seth Miles just isnt going to go away yet bud  ;D )

Really, Do I have to Dan?
When you are in any contest you should work as if there whereto the very last minute a chance to loose it.

djkimmel

I'm still confused Mojo (how much coffee do you drink btw?) but I will wait to see if I hear from Frank. Unless you mean Frank is going to follow you guys in his boat with another non-boater? That WOULD be helpful.

I think I have 1 more non-boater who wants to fish. Waiting to hear back. Even if that member decides not to fish another boat would allow me to have 1 less 3-person team.

I guess I have most others set since I haven't heard anymore today? I did my best going through posts on here, private messages, email, voice mail and text to add it all up who was coming and coming as boater/non-boater.

Really, Do I have to Dan?

I guess there's till time to change the draw again? Who do you want to fish with? I might be able to make it happen. I know a guy...

You'd think they would be a little nicer since you are getting them offshore out into a great fishery...?? Maybe you can front end them somehow?? Hard to do on St. Clair but not impossible for someone with talent!

WAS the idea right there ....... Except he's out altogether so one less worry.

That was a lot to ask for at the last minute. Getting a new boat is already enough work.

Well, I have bad news for myself and my partner for the tournament. I have boat trouble so myself and J Johnson won't be attending the tournament. I just got back form fishing in Alabama on Wilson and Joe Wheeler lakes where no one throws an Alabama rig. Before I left, I was having mechanical problems. I inquired with a few mechanics and then went to Michigan Marine over in St. Clair shores. I installed a water pump before I left to go out of town but did not get to test the boat. Got back last night, so today I fooled around with it  after my chores and cutting the wheat that had grew around my house. I'm not sure of the boat so for the best, I think I'll cancel and work on it again tomorrow. The last thing I want is to be broke down on the water. If I get it together I may come out to hang out, but don't know what I'm getting in to. I've learned a lot about a boat but still don't want to be a boat mechanic. Have fun fellas.
