The Ford plant I work at in Saline ,Mi. is hiring all the above. Must be a journyman. Tools provided. The plant has been sold to an interior co. call faurecia. One of our tool and die people went there. I am told I am leaving Nov 5th. But they are keeping it a secret. I think they got tired of people complaining. So now they are waiting. They will be ramping up at the old mazda plant now that it is a 100% ford plant. Adding another shift. The rumor is thats where the leftovers go

I'm an electrician at Michigan Assembly and we are hearing they are adding an entire crew at Flatrock. They are also playing with the idea of moving the Taurus their to make more space in Chicago for the Explorer since its sales are through the roof.

Thats what I am hearing. I was hopeing to go to MAP as a Toolmaker but that isn't looking like its gonna happen. I heard there are 2 on the line which they will bring up first. I hope they let me re-skill. Electrician is my first choice. Stationary steam #2. Still no word. Frustrating

We just put a PF that was on the line on as an Electrical apprentice and are adding 6 more reskills, all as electricians.
