Hey everyone hope you are all prepared to have a good weekend.  I just posted a new HNL Splash video that was filmed fishing for smallies in the Fall in the Great Lakes.  So should be right up your alley.

Hook n' Look Splash Episode #10 addresses the importance of understanding what transpires below the surface.  Learning to comprehend the underwater environment and identify the food chain will increase your odds of locating and catching quality fish.

Professor Emeritus Dr. Gerald R. Smith helps explains how complicated and how abundant the community is that makes up the food chain for a bass.

Enjoy!! http://www.hooknlook.com/splash-10-food-chain-gobies/

Pretty cool Danny.  Sure wish the video was longer.   ;D
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

I agree, would be better if it had more info. But it was very good to see. Thanks Danny

Looks like some good info on the website. Going to have to remember this one when the snow flies.

Thanks guys for checking the vids out, I appreciate the comments and will see if I can add more information on the next.  The HNL Splash are bi-weekly informational videos from our one-of-a-kind underwater perspective.  Keep checking back to see whats new.  Any ideas are always welcome as well  :)

Thanks

Thanks for sharing. That is such a great show with a unique way of showing what goes on under the surface. I have so many episodes saved on my DVR and they will help pass some time during the winter months

I'm behind in my DVR watching of Hook n' Look too! It's nice to sit down every so often and just immerse myself in the underwater fishing world with multiple Hook n' Look episodes! Thanks Danny!

Kim too!

PS: I would like the GPS coordinates to that first smallmouth in Splash #10 please! Thank you!! ;D

You crack me up Dan, you know me I don't have the GPS coordinates.  I put on my scuba gear and dive in!  ;)

Thats how I find the fish!

djkimmel

I'm going to have to tie a long fishing line with a bright float to you then!!! ;D

Now all I have to do is find you!!
