You aren't messing around, are you? I'm amazed at how well setup many kayak anglers are now.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I talked to a number of Great Lakes Bass members at the spring fishing shows so far this year who told me they use a kayak for a lot or even most of their bass fishing now. I told them I would get this section started so I expect as things start warming up and they see I finally got my act together, we will see some more kayak pictures. I know. It's hard to stop to take pictures sometimes when the fish are biting! :D

Hate to admit most of my seat time in my yak is floating down the Platte  River to Lake MI in the summertime. Always wanted to use the yak there to catch cohos in the fall in Platte Bay but usually fishing smallmouths on local lakes.

great use of a dry storage compartment for the battery gauge.  Im looking to modify my Freedom Hawk Pathfinder with a livewell.  Any ideas?

You know... I haven't seen much discussion anywhere about that, but you know some anglers have done it! We are a creative breed! I'll try to get the attention of some more kayak anglers so we can find some ideas.

Start bringing a rod with a tube on it, all the holes from Riverside down have fish! BIG ones too!

Oh yeah, and here's my ride!  A Malibu x13!  Killer in rough water, quite fast, and still very stable.  This is the best picture I have right now, Ill get a better one when this ice melts!

Thanks for signing up and getting involved! I was checking out some of the kayaks at the Ultimate Sport Show last week - they're starting to look more like tournament-rigged bass boats! This is still on my todo list. I see more and more people fishing this way.

Mines got lots more than what this picture shows.  Ill take some pics and post em around the second week of april when I take her out on the river!

Sounds like a good deal. Some day I need to setup a kayak rigging seminar somewhere! I personally know I would need good tips on how to not lose everything when I tip over. Because I'm going to do that for sure!

You'd be surprised, they're quite hard to tip.
