You missed it! I sat and wore out my mouse clicking, clicking, clicking....I even started talking to my wife. Found out I have 3 kids.

I almost... almost... went on anxiety medication.

There will be a major 'transplant' surgery this weekend that should keep the 'patient' healthier for a long time after a short recovery. Probably be a little downtime, but this time, I will be operating, not some far away 'specialist.'

And just a few days ago, I was thinking plastic surgery, not trauma care!?!

Sorry guys and gals. I hope this coming weekend's transplant will make another episode like this only a faint memory of the past.

Remember you don't quit fishing when you get old, you get old when you quit fishing

huston

Man, I had to talk with the wife. Please don't do that again. I had to break out with the viagra and the cialis.

LGMOUTH

Hey Dan if you can make that downtime about 2:00am and have it back up by 4:30am that would be great..........Thanks.
When you are in any contest you should work as if there whereto the very last minute a chance to loose it.

fiker

Every day this is the first site I check out.

Man!  Was I ever having withdrawals.   Didn't know I was soooo addicted.

Naw, not addicted, I can quit anytime.  Right Rev?
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

That was a loooong 4 days! I did alot of surfing on other sites and it confirmed what I already knew: This IS the best website for bass fishing in the known universe, and beyond.

My wife is extremely happy to see it up and running again. She said I was no fun to be around without my daily GLB fix.

Willie
Peace.
It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

silverminnow

I just sat and stared at the blank screen that said we will be back in a minute.  You forgot to say which MINUTE!!!!
Man, we are glad you are back..... ;D ;D ;D

djkimmel

It took me 2 hours to figure out how the code worked that said we'll be back in a minute so I could change it to say we'll back eventually...? hopefully...? soon I hope...? maybe in a day or two...?

I'm sorry for all the pain I caused (although I was glad to see Dan found out about his 3 children... a little worried though about mixing cialis AND viagra... I'm sure there's a joke there... but way too many young 'adults' reading on here to pursue...)

All is well, blood pressure back to normal, Eyes are now uncrossed and my wife wanted to know why I didn't come to bed until after 1am, I told her GLB was back on line.  Do the words "OH BROTHER" mean anything as she turned over and said leave me alone.

McCarter

The website was down for a couple days???  Hmm, didnt even notice.

Yeah right.  I was first in line at the local methadone clinic after the first day.

On the flip side, my boss has never been happier.  I got more done in the last 4 days that i have in the past 4 weeks.  I hope he doesnt expect that kind of production out of me all the time.

Willie - you are too kind! I do appreciate the great compliment. I'll keep working at making you happy you feel that way.

As as far as the spouse, maybe I need a nonfishing or don't fish a lot spouse/significant other section? I know I would have to put computer games in it for my wife. Maybe photo stuff and art stuff too? Wonder if that would work. It has to be male and female-oriented since we have an increasing number of female anglers here, some of whom's male spouse/significant others also don't fish or fish much. (wow - I almost feel like a lawyer after that 'sentence...')

I definitely don't want to cause medical issues... those copays'll kill a guy (or gal). As far as the 'OH BROTHER' - I gon't hear that a lot, but I do see 'THE LOOK.' You know the one I'm talking about...

I'm saddened to hear that. I will have to apply myself that much harder to make sure this never happens again ;D

I was wondering what happened....I really didn't like that white blank screen...Glad it's back up...

Spent the last 2 and a half days doing some future preparedness research. Thought I'd be farther ahead and make some changes already, but it has taken longer to figure a bunch of things out that all come together to keep all this stuff running. Close to a decision now so may be some downtime next weekend if I get no further surprises.

Just want to make sure there's room to grow with some more built-in toughness.

Hey Dan, OH YEAH,  I know the look all to well... and if it helps your scheduling for down time, I will be out gone MONDay-Thursday and won't have any access to the site.  If you need a good time to be down there ya go!!!! ;D ;D ;D  Seriously, thanks for all of your hard work and time involve on GLB.  Lgmth and I were talking when the board was down.  How sad is that when we were both having withdrawals and were forced to talk on the phone. :'( :'( :'(  Anyway, thanks again and remember Mon-Thurs. this week. LOL
