Hi TINYBASSMAN - long time no hear. Glad to see you are still involved in tournaments. I told the guys who asked about you that you've been around the block a few times...

Bronzeback5LBER,

The Sunrise side club is still going.  I am not able to fish that many Sunday tournaments right now.  I did fish with some of their members in a Wednesday night club last year.  They are good guys and shared information without hesitation.  I do not have any relation in Hazel Park (that I know of).  I do know some of the drivers that deliver to Tawas.  Is there someone I should say hello to?

Have a good one,

Potter

Bronzeback5LBER

Potter,
I havn't seen some of those guys in years, but if you see or know a guy named Dale Kazinski,Charlie Smith or Dave Spleet say Rich from Kochers said hello(I use to be the beverage manager at kochers)and they were all beer and wine salesmen.I forgot to mention I also fish the river and we usually do pretty good on it.Any how take care talk to you later.

I am a martial arts instructor. Been teaching for ten years now and have a dojo in Clinton Twp. Just started fishing last year. Fortunately my schedule affords me plenty of time to spend on the water.

I actually moved out to Colorado this year and am Teaching Physical Education and coaching football, basketball, and baseball. Can't wait to come home and start practicing for the summer fishing season. Hopefully I find a teaching job in michigan where i can stay around for good. Although the trout river fishing out here is nice nothing beats a day out on a lake with fellow fisherman fishing for the prize.
Your either getting better or worse you never just stay the same

Steve, great to see you here bro!

I am a sales rep for Ranger Boats.  I cover most of Michigan, northern Indiana, northern Ohio, western PA and central Ontario.  I have been doing this for eight years.  Prior to that I worked at Moore Boats in Ligonier Indiana, D&R Sports Center and Jan's Sport Shop.  I did a stint at Lake Superior State in the Soo from 91-94 when my professional BASS fishing career ended. I met Dan Kimmel back in '85 up on Elk Lake when we were drawn together in the state Fish-off.  I have worked in the fishing industry for twenty years and except for the time in the Soo, it's all I have ever done.

I live in Jones, Michigan with my wife and son.  I still fish some but hanging from a tree, trying to stick an arrow into a Whitetail is now my main hobby.

Bringing a 4 month old thread to life!

I'm a LAN (Local Area Network) Administrator for the  Air National Guard Base in Battle Creek.  If it has to do with a computer network I have to dabble in it.  Google is my friend.

Sold my boat when I enlisted and havent tournament fished since.  Finally stable and wont have to deploy anymore so I'm headed back to the tournament life.  Wow, getting back into this is a slow and overwhelming process!!

Thanks to this board it's alot easier to make decisions.  Some awesome advice here.  I'm currently on page 11 of the Tips,Techniques and General Discussion threads and still reading.  Dang I have alot of reading ahead of me.

I teach Science to "at risk" students.  I've been teaching for 30 years.
Married for 34 years.  Four grown kids.  I have triplets that turned 21 years old last week.
I fish all that I can, and bow hunt when I'm not fishing.  When it's too dark to do either, I ballroom dance with my wife.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

High School English Teacher @ Knox Indiana. Yes, that's redneck country  :-\'. I've been teaching for 4 years and love it. I only wished it paid more; I could do more fishing if it did. These gas prices really hurt me  :(.
