I am planing on taking a bass fishing trip the second week of May. I can decide on which place to go. I have never been up north this early in the year. If anyone could give me some insight on which would better place to go that time of year I would appreciate it thanks.

Never been to fletchers, but it may be early up on GT bay.  I used to fish GT bay the first week in june and the fish were usually just getting up and agressive most years.  The inland lakes were usually better that early.  Hopefully some locals will chime in.  I haven't been up in a few years so I'd be interested to see what they say.

The Bay may be too early and Fletcher's fishes better starting July.

I would go to Burt Lake.  ;)
