I will be fishing the Castaway $1000 event on Freemont lake. I have never fished this lake and was looking for a little help  Smallmouth? Largemouth? weeds? rocks? deep? shallow? etc..the tournament is not until june 8th thank you

Waterfoul

Weeds, sand, docks, points and flats.  It can be a fantastic lake.  Has good numbers of both large and smallmouth bass.  Mixed bags are normal up there.
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

Just to clarify this is a member tourney and not an open.

bassgirl

Yes, this is for members only....however, it's not too late to get your team registered!  Besides, who couldn't use an extra $1000???

oldjigger

what does a membership cost and do both people in boat hve to be members

bassgirl

This is a member appreciation tournament, so in order to qualify to enter this tournament you must be a fully registered member of one or more divisions.  The fees are $20 membership and $40 classic per BOAT.  This includes two people.  The only subs that will be allowed for this tournament are people who were subs last year.  Does that help?
