I met Retro at this house bright and early on Saturday to head to LSC, we wanted to really concentrate on the mile roads area. We started in the 6-8 area no luck, moved out deeper 8-10, no luck, then moved in shallower 4-6 and I started catching them on a white XPS jerkbait. I think I ended up with 7 or 8 for the day, all but one on the jerkbait, the other on a Tube (watermelon with chart tenticles). Thanks again to Revtro for taking me out again on such an awesome fishery, Im looking forward to the next time.

Even though the action was slower then hoped and the weather was not as forecasted the night before (Brrrr) it was still very fun.

Hey Langer want to fish the Belleville tourny this weekend?  I know plenty of areas to keep us busy all day. I'm at 4793

I would, but I will be out of town.

Went to the St. Clair Fri,Sat, and Sun. Fishing was absolutely phenomenal, caught tons of smallies using tubes and jerkbaits.I think you could have thrown about anything at them. It was an awesome weekend. I'll try to figure out how to put pictures on here soon. The biggest was 5lbs 5oz. lots of 4's and lots of 3-4 lbs. 2 walleye 6 or 7 pike. I have a blister on my pinky from my spinning reel digging in to it. ;) ;D

Revtro

Sounds like you had a way better day than us.  Langer was being kind by the way... he caught them all and I just sat there looking dumb.  It's weird how two guys can throw the same baits from the same boat, but one guy gets all the bites.    >:(  Anyway, it was still a good time even though the weather didn't cooperate.

Pigsmallie, glad to hear you did well.  I wish I had a clue to what kind of water you were fishing because our results were very, very different on Saturday.  I wanted to explore the Mile Roads a little because I don't usually have the patience for that kind of fishing.  It can be a real DRAG (pun intended) and I tend to get a little antsy.  Obviously I need to keep at it because I'm missing something.  Normally, I'm more of a specific structure guy, but I really wanted to nail down the fish that were on the flats.  One question, did you find the fish to be less cooperative on Saturday as opposed to the other two days?  Or am I just a big loser?  ;D
