For those of you from SE Michigan, maybe you've fished the Cash for Bass (CFB) circuit, or stopped in Waterford at KD Outdoors, or just been around fishing and outdoor shows long enough to meet and know him - this afternoon Ken Neeley, owner of KD Outdoors and co-owner of CFB passed away at 2:31pm.

I'm told he passed quickly and peacefully today after suffering a heart attack and/or stroke 3 days ago and being placed on life support shortly after. It's hard to believe. He was a vital and active person in many areas, and good friend to many people.

I hope you can all say a prayer for Ken, his family and friends, or send whatever kind thoughts you wish. Thanks.

After being out of town for over a week, I am just checking the message board for the first time in a while.  Wow, is all I can say to this post.  I did not know Ken well, but I had met him in his store as well as talked with him numerous times at CFB events.  Ken was truly a great guy who did so much to promote bass fishing as well as fun and honest bass tournaments.  He will be truly missed to everyone who knew him and everyone in the angling community. :-[

The church was packed.  It still seems unreal that he's gone...

Fair winds and following seas, Ken.

Thank you for sharing that with us. It is unreal.
