Hi guys,

I wanted to say first how appreciative I was of Chris hosting me on his boat yesterday.  I had a great time!  And the fish were good too!  Even though there weren't any five pounders on our boat, I was vey pleased with what we caught.  I know I pulled in probably about 14lbs total in the top 5 I had caught, and I think Chris did close to the same.

The mile road trip was definitely the way to go yesterday, at least as far as I could see.  Catching those suspending fish turned out to be a lot of fun!

I was wondering if we were just going to go on through June & July without any meeting or anything until our July date.  No big deal to me, I just didn't know if anyone wanted to get together and barbeque or anything, and maybe even throw in a little fishing just for fun!

Tom, you definitely were right on.  When I was catching on tubes, it was on the watermeon with the red flake.  I even pulled in a couple of nice sized smallies on a nice purple rattle-trap.

Nice to meet some of you guys I hadn't before either.  Look forward to the next time out!

I'm up for it.  I'm willing to host it too unless you do.  BBQ sounds great.

we checked out some stuff up north by swan creek, muskamoot and the lower connecting highways - not much going on up there yet.  Lots of empty beds even though the water was 58F.  ran down to the mile roads, and hit fish even at noon - best 5 were prolly 13 lbs - not great, but we spent alot of time ruling water out.

I cannot make the Cass lake event, but will try and make the BBQ/meeting.  When are we thinking?

I would like to thank Seth and Dave for a great day on the water. Your friendly competition was enjoyable. I had what you could call an off day of fishing. I think I only managed 1 keeper all day with a handful of little ones. Even though my fishing sucked Seth and Dave managed to do pretty good. It was good to head up around the channels and see some new water before heading back over to the mile roads. Thanks again Seth.

A BBQ sounds like a good idea. Lets start throwing some date around for when we should do it.

I pick July 14th.

July 14th sounds as good a day to me as any I can muster up.  I've got lots cooking over the next few weekends.  I am not certain though if I can host it or not.  I may be flying back into town that day, which would put me in no good shape to host the BBQ.  I won't know if I could host it until sometime this week.

If anyone wants to host it or has a suggestion of were we could do it, just holler.  It would be me bringing my two kids with me that day, as my wife is out of town for the weekend anyway.  Plus, I live down where Tom lives, and I know that could be a drive for all on the west side.  I'll keep you guys posted if I can host later this week or not.

The 14th works for me.  I would be happy to host it if no one else wants to.  We could fish St. Clair for a few hours first since it's a Saturday, then meet up here and BBQ.  I can get 2 boats in my driveway if I have mine in the garage and I can make sure my wife keeps the front clear for one on the street right in front of the house.  We don't have too many problems around here, so it would work fine.

Who's up for it?  It's like an extra EBA day.

Sorry guys, I can't make it.  I don't return from Seoul until late Saturday night.

Sounds fun....

I can't do the 14th nor the 21st, I'll be out of town.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.
