I am thinking about proposing Mullet Lake for our Bass club classic at the beginning of October. Does any one have an info that wiould help. (places to stay, best ramps, restaraunts...)

The best ramp that I saw was the Burt Lake Campground ramp.  The Aloha ramp was fine also and they have a pretty good setup there that you could use for your weigh in.  The mullet village ramp was very small and had almost zero accomodations.  I wouldn't do it there.
Peir 33 where we did the BFL is nice with lots of slips, but they charged 15 dollars to launch and it takes 20 mins or more to get to the lake.
As far as accomodations go there is all sorts of hotels and cabins in the area.  I stayed at the Topinabee hotel.  It was cheap only 35 dollars, and I was only in the room for about 4 hours total, but I wouldn't stay there with my wife and family.  It was pretty rough.
The guys that stayed at the Fleetwood inn said it was really nice and they had good tourney rates.  Going in October you should get rock bottom prices from the Hotels so make sure you ask.

Gee I only paid $6.00 for the ramp at Pier 33 and the Topinabee Motel wasn't that bad if you had one of the remodeled rooms. But it would be better suited for guys.

The Tourney director announced friday nite that it was 15 dollars to launch at pier 33.  I never launched there so I don't know for a fact, If Mark says it was 6 dollars then I am sure he is right.
I stayed in Room 11 at the Topinabee and it was Rough...I had to go out to my truck to get a cord in order to run the window shaker AC, and the room didn't appear to be well maintained.  They must be remodeling the rooms one at a time.  The hotel was centrally located between the ramps on both lakes.
I do appreciate the tip on the room though Mark.  Like I said I was only in the room for about 4 hours on friday nite and it was only 35 dollars.  IF I would have spent a bunch of money on a room I would have been hot.
