I'm just thinking about DS'ing
I only have 8 ds rods

djkimmel

Maybe we should have a final, end-all, prove-it-or-lose-it, Drop Shot King contest!?! ;D

You know... I haven't tried drop-shotting a crankbait yet...? Wonder how that would work??

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Well I "only" have 2 identical DS rigs... one for back up.  Then I have a back up to those 2.  And I have one rigged up for legally fishing the drown river mouths on this side of the state (have to have the 3" dropper line on Muskegon, White, etc...).  Guess my total is only 4.  But being the KING I don't need to keep 8 of them on hand.   8)

By the way, unless you've actually NAMED your drop shot rig you better get with the program.  Mine is called "The Weapon."

And this DS only thing... if it's on St. Clair all I can say is whoopie.   :-\'  Anyone can do it on St. Clair.  Heck my mom could catch fish on St. Clair with a drop shot rod.  Come on over here and try Muskegon and the like... where you have to rig it legally.  There's the challenge!   :o

The one we had was on Cass lake.  Small turn out but fun.  Problem is there are so many tournaments now everyone is busy.

Agreed.  I fish every Monday, Wed. and every other Saturday in the summer.  Add in the occasional pick up event or subbing for someone and I fish a lot of tournaments every year!  Fun though... me and "The Weapon" catch a lot of fish.

I'm crazy but not so much the I name the rods. LOL
8 rods, well my only regret is that I didn't BUY more
Liked the older Kistler Mag and Hel rods, 7' med x-fast tip. used to be sales and I'd buy then
And now they stopped making them

When you guys going pro?  ;D

I guess when I get around to it.......

Life with my current "$###" , figure company , awesome family, wife and kids, is worth everything.  Truth be told, I'm afraid I'd Unbalance the harmony I've worked so hard to create. Life on the road of a pro is incredibly hard, and difficult on the family.

The problem I'm creating is that the bigger circuits are more enticing to me OR the smaller NBAA, etc is holding it's appeal. Maybe I'll go pro once the kids begin college. So I guess simply..... When I get around to it.  ;D

You do know you can't qualify for the Elites with a good 40 yard dash time, right?  Even a good 4x100 time won't get you in, though it may show you can be a team player.   ;D

lol! Might get me some press at least lol. Not many fishermen ran run a 4.3 40.
