Hello everyone ...

I am sorry to start this in a new thread but I wanted to make sure people did not pass over this ...

I am loosing boats and my boater list is getting smaller.

I seriously need some help with boats for the fish-n-friends charity event this Saturday.

If you know of anyone who can provide a boat to help us out I would greatly appreciate it.

Please see the Fish-n-Friends thread to learn more about this great charity event.

I can come up there with my boat Saturday, it is just 18' though. I also have 2 extra spincasting rigs in the garage I bought earlier this year for taking out my buddy's kid I can donate, if they will work. I don't know what kind of rigs you are looking for.
Questions:
#1 Is it multi-species?
#2 Also this will only be my second time on the lake, the first time I didn't do so good so since I assume we will be trying to put the kids on fish can I follow somebody else around?
#3 Tackle, will live bait rigs be used? I don't have any but I can get some floats and stuff if needed.
#4 Will we be able to get through the gate before 8?
#5 How many kids/boat? i.e. should I put my third seat back in?
Other than that, I look forward to seeing you all there.
Edit: I also have one child's life vest, I think 50-90 lbs. I will bring if that helps.

Thanks for adding your boat. Any size is okay on Cass. There are places for all sizes.

Any fish species is okay - just get the kids around fish. I'll make map copies with some spots marked and you can follow me or anyone else to get around some kind of fish. The kids can bring in one fish of any kind to weigh in.

Boaters be there by 7 AM - the gate will be open for our boaters then.

We'll provide some tackle, spincast rod & reel, live bait. We are still a little short of some equipment, so if you have a life jacket, live bait tackle, etc, it will be much appreciated if you bring it. Some kids might want to fish for bigger fish. These are young to mid-teens mostly.

You will likely have two kids in your boat, or a kid and a chaperon.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I'm working on a first mate for the pontoon, but anyone without a boat who feels like volunteering (please) pipe up. I don't have anyone yet.
