My neighbor went to Saginaw Bay walleye fishing the other day.  He came home and told me that Bassmaster has reserved a date at Hoyle's next year.  I assumed this was for the weekend series.  Can anyone shed any light on whether Michigan will have a division next year, and possible tentative dates and/or locations if they are.

there intent is to have a series run by the ABA.  I've been curious to see a schedule!!

As far as I know, our own ABA is still in charge of setting up the schedule for the Michigan Bassmaster Series. He probably has a tentative schedule, but if he needs any permits, he can't request them until November 1.

I have fished the Weekend series this year in the Missouri division.  I am not real fond of the series but its the only one that fits my schedule.  The first complaint I have is the dual membership.  You have to be members of both the ABA and Bassmaster.  The second is its never really clear what your fishing for.  I.E. year end championship.  It still seems pretty unorganized but they have accomadated me pretty well.  When you fish one it just feels like a big ABA event.  Nothing real special about it.

I believe I heard that they are addressing the dual membership somehow... but don't quote me on that.
