I'm pulling my boat up to kalkaska area this week. How is the fishing and  the water temps.

I too will be heading up Sunday for the week, a little farther north of you.  Staying on Hanley lake, part of the chain of lakes.  I heard the fishing is a little tough (as it is much of August), but should still be fun.  Good luck

Good luck to both of you. I haven't been up there yet this year other than Charlevoix in early June. Which was good of course.
