Okay guys I know it's last minute but, I could really use a good spot or two on burt lake. I have a championship I have to defend this weekend and I won't have any time to pre fish the lake whatsoever.   Thanks for any help you can give me.

Fish 100 ft deep with a Carolina rig buzzbait... If that don't work, Use a jitter bug on a dropshot!

Pollock,

Camp out at the mouth of the Indian and Sturgeon rivers, alot of tourney's been won there.

I am by no means an expert there but where the channel comes into burt there are good fish off those seawalls. The eddies behind them and parallel to them
.. spinnerbait jerkbait. Greenmans point was good too. Shallow and slow taper with rock to sand tranaition for them to cruise. You can fish through from there through goose bay and cover some water to try to locate some fish. A bit further down on the same shore there is another point that comes way out into the lake all rock i think ceder point. Looks like a community hole but maybe they get stupid up there? Good luck!

And if they are real finicky...switch to the always reliable texas rigged zara spook or wacky rigged lipless crank bait.  I recommend pre-drilling a hole in the lipless to feed the hook through, otherwise the hook dulls pretty bad trying to drive it through the hard plastic.
Seriously though, if I had any knowledge that would help you on Burt Lake, I would gladly share it with you.  Unfortunately I don't, so all I can do is wish you luck in your tournament and hope you successfully defend your title.

Some questionable tips there but also a few that are the best I can provide in the fall too overall. Like I've said, me and Burt don't always get along but once in awhile I have a good time there. Bigger bass overall in Burt but I think Mullett has more bass.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
