What kind of weight is typically needed to win there?

Berkley

Last year at the same time it took 10.50 lbs of freezing cold bass to win. Hopefully its a little warmer this year!!!

Eric

It should take more than 13 to win, I would expect.  I think it took over twelve to win our Monday night singles there.  If you can catch the smallies and one of the big largies, over 15 is very realistic.

I'll be there.  Fished it Monday morning... first time I'd ever been there.  I'd say my buddy and I had about 10-11 lbs or so.  I lost one that probably went 4 lbs right at the boat.  Looking forward to this one!!

I'll be in an older 17 Tracker tin boat... 40 hp Mariner.

Hey Mac... Last Monday was the first time I'd ever laid eyes on THAT Crystal Lake.  I've fished the Crystal lake in Benzy County several times though.

By the way, I fished it again this Monday... was pretty slow... managed 5 keepers but they were all small.  This weeks weather pattern is going to wreak HAVOC on the fishing for sure.  Sunday could be a tough outing for all.  Still looking forward to it though.

Did anyone go to this tournament?  If so, how about a report of how it went, number of boats, results, etc.

20 boats, big sack was somewhere around 11.2 lbs.  Big fish was 3.2 lbs.

We had fun.  Got our limit but it only went 7.8 lbs or so.
