Anyone fish West Michigan Bass Tournaments?
Wondering if they have good turnouts?

djkimmel

They're a popular circuit right now with quite a few events on the West side of Michigan. Give them a try. The post a lot of the stuff below in the Tournaments section of the forum.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
Unless clearly stated as such, opinions expressed by Dan Kimmel on this forum are not the opinions or policies of The Bass Federation of Michigan.

They are very well ran tournaments. Very good turnouts and a bunch of good guys. They have weeknight and weekend divisions.
When you are in any contest you should work as if there whereto the very last minute a chance to loose it.

Terrible tournaments.  The same guy wins every one of them.  Don't come!!    >:(

KIDDING!!  They are the best run local events you will find with a lot of great fishermen.  Been fishing them since it all started (and even before that... ) and it's always a good time.

You won't be disappointed.

hair of the dog has 65 teams signed up for the early draw. That's not a guaranteed boat count, but we're expecting over to average over 50.

Our weeknights usually average between 10-15 boats. Also, your 1-time membership covers you for any WMB tournaments - so you can fish 1 or more divisions all thew way through or pick and choose what you want to fish across all divisions (including saturdays).

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions
