I have an idea that may turn out to be a bust, but what the heck...  Anyone interested in getting together before the tourney at Mike's on the Water for a little hangout and get to know ya?  I remember the last MadWags I attended and while the BBQ was great afterward, many of us had to leave a bit early to get back home, work, etc.

So I was thinkin': If anyone's interested, we could get together Thursday night at Mike's around 6 or 7 and hangout and get to know each other prior to the event.  I know a lot of us will be out practicing that day so I figured maybe some would like to gather together for a little pre-tourney libations and fun.  Anyone up for it?

We could also do Friday, but that would keep me out because I have an event that evening I can't miss, but if everyone wants to do Friday, that's totally cool too.

Anyone?  I'll probably be there Thursday regardless, so let's hang out!

If I lived closer, I'd be in... I wont be practicing, So I wont make it... I love the idea. I have almost as much fun hanging out with fellow bass fisherman than I do making lures and fishing.

Same here.  Going to make that drive a couple times from this side of the planet.  Have fun all.

No practice days for me either. It would be fun to hang out, but it's going to be a long day trip for me on the 7th. On the road at 3 a.m.  Hoping to be home by midnight.

Well I guess we can always try for next year.  :)

Tom, the daughter and I will be there.  If she isn't interested, I would be.  :)

Revtro

Aw man, now I feel bad.  I went ahead and scheduled a 7pm rehearsal at church that night because I didn't think anyone was interested.  Wanna do it earlier like maybe 5?  I'd just have to head out by 6:45 or so.

People actually practice for a $5'tournament?

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Remember you don't quit fishing when you get old, you get old when you quit fishing

I 'practiced' at a different lake today. I'm in trouble because my practice sucked... I hope my tournament goes better!?!

You seriously think we are practicing for the tourney ??? It's a trophy smallmouth lake. I'm not driving up 3 hours, fish 6 then driving home. I make it a 3 or 4 day trip each year. I was up last week and the week before for the same reason. To catch big bass. After this trip I won't be back til next spring. So, no I'm not fishing for the Mad Wags.

Firefighter Jeff

Tom, 5:00 might be a little early.  if no one else can make it we might be able to do lunch.

Revtro

I'm sure Mojo and I can meet up for a quick lunch at Mike's if you like.  Let me know for sure or text me during the day and we'll figure something out.  Looking forward to meeting you.

Yes. I know. I have faith it will be a good day, especially if the rains hold off. That will make it a better day.
