I went out with Stack today on Torch even with horrible weather. Seems like every time we fish together it is either windy, rainy, or both lol.  We saw empty beds and could not figure out why till later in the day. The cold front shoved all the fish right back over the drop offs. We saw schools of smallies cruising the drops , but they had absolutely no interest in anything tossed at them. Water at the north end was 60 and the south end was 58'ish.

Took Bill to the north end, farther than he had been up lake and showed him some of my favorite spots .

We didn't hook a single fish and I had one chaser after a spinnerbait that was just about as big as the spinnerbait.  Saw 2 other boats at the launch on Torch itself. A blue champ trailer and a nitro trailer. I'm pretty sure that might have been Zman out there as he just posted a picture of him fishing " up north" . The lake behind him looked rather familiar.

Took Bill to the Clam River Dockside for some food and to warm up. The ride back from the north end was  not great to say the least. It poured on us the entire 10 mile trip .

Well, you were fishing and it is a beautiful lake.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Gotta give you credit for fishing on a day like that.  Love the Dockside !!!  Yummmmm

Sideways

Gorgeous body of water. Never caught anything on it though...
