Monday, July 11th TBF of Michigan, with the help of Michigan B.A.S.S. Nation, are taking Legislators, staff, MDNR and MUCC personnel fishing for the 2nd annual Michigan Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus Lake St. Clair bass fishing outing. We need boater volunteers who can loan out a rod or two, and life jackets for the morning.

We will meet around 8am that morning at the Lake St. Clair Fisheries Research Station at the back of Harley Ensign BAS. There will be a brief meeting with a short presentation or two, and then we will take the visitors out fishing after lining you up and matching you up. If we get enough volunteers it will be mostly one other person to each boat.

We will fish for about 3 hours coming in before noon for a luncheon provided by the hosts - TBF of Michigan and possibly other who donate towards lunch. Lunch will be right there at the Research Station. And we are done after lunch.

Please contact me through the forum by posting here or sending me a PM if you are willing and able to help out. This is a great chance to get to know some of the state legislators and show them 'our world.' Dave Reault is coordinating boaters so I will forward your name to him. Thank you.

I think I sent a PM.  It took a long time to send.  Not sure if it went.  I am available that day to take someone out.

Steve Smith.
