This is the first time that I have watched live streaming video online and I have a couple of questions.

1. Is the video supposed to speed up and slow down? Also, sometimes it stops altogether.

2. Sometimes the video and the audio stop and across the bottom it says it is buffering 10%, 40%, etc. until the video and audio start again. They it will only run right for about 11/2 minutes then the process starts again. Is this right?

I have the macromedia and the windows media, just like it says. I'm running DSL from my phone company at 128 kbs. Is that too slow for it to work properly?

I appreciate the help.
Peace.
It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

128Kb is not going to be able to keep up.

The video streams into your memory buffer ahead of what you are watching, but if you display doesn't keep up, you have to wait for  more of info to download.

There are settings that can be changed, but that is pretty technical and at 128Kb won't make a big difference. Patience is safer.

Other factors on your PC are involved too such as whether or not you have separate video and sound processors. Some systems take part of the main processor and memory to process video. Other factors might be whether you have a home network or not, and if someone else is sharing your Internet connection. You don't always get full speed either.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
